Ergonomics in the workplace

Medically required

Chronic back pain has long become a widespread disease.

Unnatural and therefore unhealthy postures at the workplace are deemed the predominant cause for these complaints.

People grow very differently. No two bodies are alike. The spine, the bone structure of the arms and legs and all muscles are a healthy unit from birth – until outer influences act on them.

Work tables with a fixed height where people work standing up therefore do not help improve ergonomics in production, assembly and maintenance. Occupational physicians have long agreed on this and demand that these findings be considered by introduction of height-adjustable work tables.

Economically sensible

Ergonomically optimised workplaces where motivated employees work without any risks to their health decisively contribute to a better operating climate.

Use of height-adjustable work tables increases productivity; health-related absences are exceptions.

Height-adjustable work tables are an investment in the health of employees and the company’s future that pays off.

MSD = ? . If you don’t know what that is, you are either young or one of the 1/3.
MSD = Musculoskeletal disease!
2/3 of all working people in Germany suffer with it or will develop it.
This risk could be reduced with very little effort, but many only believe in it once they suffer.
